Pre-abortion screening at Options Care Center is the first step if you are considering abortion. The screening includes no-cost medical-grade pregnancy testing, a limited ultrasound (if needed), and a confidential discussion of your pregnancy options.

Types of Abortions

There are two main types of abortion:

1. Medical Abortion: Involves taking two medications up to 10 weeks into the pregnancy. It carries risks such as incomplete abortion, heavy bleeding, and infection.

2. Surgical Abortion: Includes procedures like Vacuum Aspiration (up to 13 weeks) and Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) for later stages. Risks include uterine perforation, scarring, and psychological effects like anxiety or depression

It’s important to understand the physical and emotional risks before making a decision.
