What Are My Options?

Are you pregnant? Do you think you may be pregnant?

If so, you may find yourself wondering what your options are.

First, you’ll want to confirm whether you’re pregnant or not. You can do this by coming in and taking a free pregnancy test with us. Next, our nurse will determine if you are eligible for a free Ultrasound.

Not Ready? Educate Yourself with Information about Your Three Options

Abortion

If you are considering abortion, the best first step is a pre-abortion consultation with our social worker or volunteer on staff. It is important to know what it involves at each stage of pregnancy and what risks are associated, emotionally and physically. We can discuss your options with absolutely no pressure or judgment.

The cost of an abortion will vary depending on gestation of pregnancy and the type of procedure. To learn more about what these procedures entail and what to expect, please visit our page here with information on the various abortion procedures.

Do I need an ultrasound before an abortion?

It is recommended, and in good practice, to have an ultrasound before an abortion to determine viability and how far along you are. We provide ultrasounds free of charge, while many abortion clinics will charge you for one. Our ultrasounds are performed by a registered nurse sonographer and reviewed by an OB/GYN doctor.

Adoption

At Options Care Center, we provide free information about the adoption process, as well as referrals to adoption agencies that best meet your wants and needs. The adoption process is mother-focused, and we will take the time with you to consider whether this would be the right parenting choice for your child.

What kind of family would you want to place your child in? How much ongoing contact or openness would be best for you? These are just a few examples of questions and concerns we can help you navigate. Start a conversation about adoption by giving us a call and scheduling a free, confidential appointment with one of our staff members.

Parenting

Many people who want to parent may have questions or concerns about single parenting, co-parenting, marriage, continuing their education, financial stability and other topics. We offer free parenting education and resources at our pregnancy center for anyone who wants to participate. You can participate in our “Earn While You Learn” Parenting Program to earn credits used for purchasing maternity and baby items for you child up to 18 months old.

Welcoming a child into the world means a lot of changes. Some are big, some are smaller; some are exciting, others are scary. You don’t have to prepare for parenting alone, we can help you become the best parent you can be.
